Brief — When I was meeting the staff of Tomo Sushi in the Restaurant I had a open briefing. After I got to know the client more I suggested using a fun Japanese Mascotte that matches the owners view and approach in serving it's guests; fun, delightful but also having importance of delivering quality.
Challenges — Tomo Sushi was founded in 2000, the interior and look and feel have not been updated since. The colors of the interior were mostly black and white, although this was a good thing so I could introduce new colors.
Goals — Tomo Sushi's goal was to develop a style that sets Tomo apart from other Sushi Restaurants, and have brand assets that can be used outside the restaurant as well (Stickers, Enamel Pins, Merchandise, etc).
Solution — Using a fun recognizable Japanese mascotte as the main Logo Tomo Sushi is not only limited to the restaurant, but also has options to further expand it’s brand outside in various and fun ways.
The new line of products consists of custom Chop Sticks, Business Cards, Stickers, Coasters, Clothing, Pins and more. Each product has two variations of colors and artwork. Also the Tomo Sushi Website and outdoor sign have been updated with a new look and feel.
Carismatic Visuals was responsible for the new photography of Tomo Sushi. A small impression selection below. More of these photos can be found on his website; www.carismatic.net
