I’m honored and thrilled to share the official work I did for Panda Express. Panda Express is the largest American based Chinese Fast Food restaurant in the US with over 2.300 locations.

I was approached to make a Neon Sign of their Logo and to work on a collaboration between the Restaurant and the hit show “Hot Ones”, resulting in another neon sign for online and offline promotion of the "Blazing Bourbon Chicken" recipe.

With a huge appreciation (call it obsession) for Asian culture and spicy food this has been a dream project to work on. The Panda Express team is an absolute joy to work with and it was a privilege to share my love for Asian Culture and neon signs.

Balance Is Everything

I have a huge fascination and connection with Japan. From their Art to its disciplined culture, Japan is truly a unique country that managed to develop authenticity in every form imaginable.

In 2023 I visited Japan for the first time and therefore I designed a Illustration for the trip combining different elements of Japanese culture like City Life, Food and culture. The result is a 4 armed Sushi Chef cat in Neon entitled "Balance is Everything".

Lucky Mao 招財貓

Lucky Mao is a new takeout Restaurant based in New York. With traditional Chinese cuisine on their menu, Lucky Mao requested a matching Visual Identity with a easy to recognise Asian inspired character: a Lucky Cat.

Lucky Cats (Fortune Cats) have been a part of Asian culture since the 1800's. Their origins are in Japan but this tiny creature left it's mark all over Asia. Lucky Cats are well known for bringing good luck and fortune.

Lucky Mao requested a Mascot and Brand Identity in neon sign to honour the famous Asian city vibes. New Yorkers can now experience fresh quality Chinese cuisine in the Big Apple.

Personal Illustration I designed combining three subjects I love: cats, Japan and spicy food. This Illustration was designed in 2018 and started my continuous ambition to improve and perfect neon sign related artwork.
